The past few weeks...

The last couple of weeks have been absolutely crazy..... I have not managed to update and I have been panicking thinking I have lost my motivation to ever blog again! But don't worry guys... I was only busy... and here is why....

A couple of weeks ago we moved to sunny adelaide! Loving it here, the weather is beautiful and its not to country, but also not as built up as sydney, so for me.. its a happy medium (Would be prefect if the family were here) We have moved in with my childhood friend brooke, who is now married with two beautiful girls, Miah aged 18 months and Ava aged 6 months... Neither pregnancies were planned... especially the second one.. yes they are ridiculously close in age and she NEVER recommends it and since living here I would also tell all married couples to back of child making so close together .. or even at all.. no just joking I love kids... or do i? no no I do.
So here we are enjoying our first few days in adelaide and BAM, myself Amy and Justin (the husband of brooke) get hit with a wonderful dose of food poisoning! YUCK worst nightmare ever... two teething babies and three adults not being able to control how this bug is leaving there system.. and most importantly .. ONE... thats right ONE toilet. What a night from hell... The next day was spent in hospital due to passing out from dehydration... and things... the days following were spent recovering at home.
We were soon feeling a lot better. What a relief it is to feel human again.. time to relax.... or so we thought.

Immediately after we had recovered, Brooke was sent off to hospital with baby Ava after some alarming blood results to try and rule out all diseases and infections possible. Justin continued to go to work as normal and Miah was left in the capable hands of her auntie broges and auntie aims. We did indeed have a wonderful time, absolutely blissful. Wrong again... tantrums, naughty chairs, nappies galore, mess and dribble, and in the midst of it all Superwomen Broges and Amy manage to score a full time permanent Job with The Advertiser (newspaper) Very exciting!
A few days later baby Ava and an extremely tired mummy returned home with some good news, and life went back to some sort of normal that is still new to us.

And that would be the end of the first few drama's and first two weeks. (touch wood)

A few photos from our latest adventures ....

Having a blast...

Wednesday: What to wear, when you have nothing to wear...... and its still sunny...

So, lately I have been having some issues with my wardrobe. I feel like i have no clothes and I'm sure everyone has these moments... but... for me they are moments that have become more frequent. The worst part about it, is I cant really do anything to drastic to fix the problem as I'm DESPERATELY trying to save for my America trip. (feel free to donate, it is for a good cause!.. at least.. I think thats what people usually say)

Ideally I would like to wear some of these today...

But they are not within reaching distance.

So ... bringing it back, again.. Nothing to wear... No way to solve it... so this is what I'm sporting today.

Night out on the tiles... of Albany

Last night we all went out to dinner as a family, and myself being an adopted daughter to a place called dylan's. I love this town, I love that every store is so cute and individually designed. I love that most people know each other and that the local place to come is Dylan's ... One of my favorite shows is Gilmore girls... and this town is exactly like Gilmore Girls... I think I will call Dylan's... Luke's Diner.

Little, But Stunning Beach..

Today was another beautiful day over here in WA. ITs weird, I feel like I have finally moved to australia! Sunny hot beached filled days! Amy's dad, Mark, took us on a fantastic BEAUTIFUL scenic tour to a few beaches... and ... through a few fantastic dirt gravel roads... No we did NOT do any drifting. We are responsible people...... How dare you accuse us of doing something so... Okay look we did do it.. I confess.. But .. it was to fun to pass up the opportunity. Here are a few photos from the day :)

Food for thought... Or should I say NO food...

So for those of you who don't know me, or my food history I thought i might give you a little background information. Growing up I was always an extremely lucky child, I suffered no allergies, no food intolerance, no fears, no worries.. Yes, I was a little dramatic and entertaining.. but generally quite laid back I have chosen to believe... pretty much absolutley no side effects from delicious processed foods (apart from .... the odd kilo) .... Life was good, we moved to australia, had been living here for a few years and then BAM it hit me... I woke up one morning unable to eat ANYTHING.. not one single thing, I was so so SO SO ill .. so I of course took a few visits to a few doctors, and finally was told by a naturopath that I had a simple blood infection that was caused from yeasty processed foods.. and I was to just do a special diet (which involved eating.. next to nothing) ..have some herbs.. down some good bacteria for 6 weeks and all would be sweet once again.
6 months later, 27 kilo's lighter... I'm actually feeling a little better. { Just want to add a side note... I was a little peeved with the fact that I had eaten so healthy for quite a while and treated it like a new found religion that my taste buds couldn't hack the taste of ANY normal foods even though my blood was now fine.. everything tasted horrible} Okay let me get back on track this story is a little all over the place... The point is.. I'm now 21 and for the past 5 years.. FIVE YEARS I have continued to have issues and it has never been fixed, most recently everything apart from grapes and watermelon have been making me feel nauseous all day and all night, chronic pains and dizziness.. so here I am not sleeping.. not eating.. and getting more and more upset!!! .. Now... As most of you know I have just moved to perth.. I don't know if I had just developed an intolerance to sydney traffic, Sydney drivers, Sydney scenery, sydney pollution, most importantly Sydney weather.. and I'm not going to judge or point fingers.. all I'm saying is I have been in WA for over a week.. and have been pretty damn good...

Ummmmmmmm What? This is the cure!?...... Wish I found out 5 years ago.

Now I'm feeling fantastic compared to what I was working with before... However not perfect so I don't want to go crazy and start eating everything under the sun, so for now, I'm going to do the diet the naturopath put me on in the first place.. as it seems to work quite nicely for me...

Oh before I tell you ... Just want to say, Thank you to Amy my best woman for also doing the diet with me as a support. Anyone else your welcome to join.. as I said before it did make me drop 27 kilos ... After the first two weeks I was dropping 2-3 Kilo's every couple of days

My new little pretty town...

I love the new town I live in. I have grown up watching Gilmore girls and they live in a cute town where everyone knows everyone, and everything is walking distance. The town of albany is very much like this, it is cute, every store is original and decorated nicely. It is safe, and friendly, and everyone does know us! But that is because Amy's dad is the senior sergeant ... Hello getting out of parking tickets ;) Just kidding... But seriously.

The Road leading into the town, local shops and a token mountain.

Opposite the shops, Much prettier on a sunny day, but still just as enjoyable.
